More about the floor plan tools

A floor plan for your next renovation

Draw the layout in your browser

Roomivio provides a 2D canvas for walls, doors and windows. Start with an empty plan, draw the shape of your space and divide it into rooms. The free editor opens without an account or a software installation.

Arrange furniture (PRO) and add dimensions

Furniture and other premium catalog items require PRO access. Place furniture, appliances and fixtures from the library to explore a room layout. Add dimensions and notes to communicate your idea. Check the measurements against the actual room before ordering furniture or starting work.

Use an existing plan as a background

Import a PDF or image, set its scale using a known measurement and trace the layout with the drawing tools. The background is a reference; importing it does not automatically turn its walls into editable objects.

Keep a copy of your work

Export your plan as a PNG image to share it or include it in your renovation notes. Guest work is saved in the current browser when storage is available. Clearing site data or switching browsers can remove access to that local drawing, so export important work.

Continue in Electro Planner

For electrical design and project documentation, explore the full Electro Planner application and compare its plans. It opens separately; your Roomivio drawing is not transferred automatically.
